For one-off events, as yet unknown (such as lectures, workshops, musical events, extra fees for expensive material), which have to be taken into account by the museum, admission fees of up to 50.00 € (depending on primary costs and expenses) can be charged.

For special events that are organised in connection with our contract partners, extra fees of up to 50.00 € will be charged (depending on the costs and expenses paid for contractually agreed performances).

Concessions are available to Leipzig social ticket holders, pupils, students, trainees, Leipzig Card holders, people performing military or non-military service, severely disabled persons and school groups.

Admission is free for under-16s, for those accompanying a person with a disability, for members of the Friends of the Museum, ICOM members, members of the Association of German Art Historians (Verband Deutscher Kunsthistoriker), members of the German Museums Association (Deutscher Museumsbund), members of the Saxon Museums Association (Sächsischer Museumsbund) and of the Federal Association of Professional Artists (Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler e.V.).
